In late 1985, God placed a strong burden on the heart of Rev. Lonnie Mitchell to plant a church in the south Dayton area. Just a few months later, on January 25, 1986, Miamisburg Full Gospel Tabernacle (MFGT) opened its doors for our very first service.

Over the decades, our campus on Schroeder Street has grown—expanding our sanctuary and adding a fellowship hall to make room for more social gatherings—but our core mission has remained exactly the same. We are dedicated to leading people into a life-changing experience with Jesus Christ. Today, under the leadership of Pastor Jacob and Brianna Riddell, we are still passionately pursuing the Gospel and seeking God’s purpose for our lives and our city.
